Dear Merle & Sandi:
April 2011
1.The only way to start this email is by saying THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
for the Great dog you call Debora that you sold me as well as your time, knowledge
and all the good things you shared with me.
When I started the search for a dog that could help me in the cutting pen,
I didn’t know it was going to be so difficult. After a lot
searching, sending emails, phone calls, surfing the web, I finally came across an article
in a magazine that directed me in your direction.
You understood perfectly what I was looking for and since the first minute, I have been treated great!
Finally the day arrived and I went to pick up my dog. Since the very first moment I was truly amazed at how your dogs worked for you!
It was a bonus to assist you in the Rodear contest on horseback with great dogs and extra nice people.
I met the dog that you had trained for me and boy she can sure work!! Unfortunately she wasn’t the dog for me.
Since she was a shy girl and I live in the biggest city on earth…..we just wouldn’t work together. But then you kindly offered me another
dog and it was love at first sight. Debora is just the perfect dog!!! She works like a fine Swiss watch when she’s working and as sweet
and well behaved girl that I could of ever asked for.
She’s taking to her new life here in the big city like a Champ!! We have been together all the time here at the office, in the car,
at the super market and jogging along side of me. We just can’t wait for the weekend to be able to go out to the ranch to have some real action!!
I was blessed to find you and for sure I’ll be back to enjoy your knowledge and company and of course the great Border Collies!!
For sure Cowdog College is the best place to find a working Border Collie!
Sincerely,
Guillaume Martin

Hi Sandi:
Just wanted to let you know that your Girl Debora is doing just fine!!
We have been doing a lot different things and she handles them perfectly. We worked sheep and last day we worked cattle. We are doing Great! Some times we have to stop and re-start to gain control but nothing we can't handle together.
I took Debora to the cutting pen and she was great as a turnback dog!! We are so happy with her & she behaves so well!! Everybody loves her.
Thanks Again!!!
Best Regards,
Guillaume

Hello Merle & Sandi:
I am a little slow in getting this out but I wanted to Thank you both for the great clinic that was held at Kay Williams place. Bindi & I both really learned a lot. Your insight into the small things really helped me in my handling. I really had a good time watching the other dogs & handlers work as well.
Sandi you do a really good job explaining & helping people see what the dog is thinking, something that is really good with a Cattle Dog. Working with Merle on being able to place the dogs so that they are in control was really great & the exercises he showed me are helping with that. The handle of the livestock was really nice to see as well.
Thanks again for the great clinic & I hope to see ya down the road at a trial one day.
Take Care,
Jesse & Lisa Hampton and Bindi too
